A Mendia project

Flip Tracker

Our app for resellers: keep track of inventory, work out what a sale earned, and see what needs doing next.

Three iPhone screens from Flip Tracker: Inventory with sold and listed items, Today with the next best action and Money Moves, and Insights with a realized-profit chart

What it’s for

Reselling comes with a lot of small details. What did an item cost? Where is it listed? Did the sale cover the fees and shipping? What still needs to go out?

Flip Tracker brings those details together in a native app for iPhone and iPad. It’s a Mendia project, and it’s free to download on the App Store. Flip Tracker’s page has the screenshots, what’s free, and what Pro costs.

Start the day with the next step

Today opens on the single most useful thing to do, such as a sale that still needs to ship, with a daily focus and a short queue of tasks below it. Shipping tasks are created when an item sells, and you can add your own. New sales get a small celebration.

Pro adds Money Moves: a ranked plan that keeps shipping first, then suggests price reviews and other actions. Each move shows whether its dollar figure is confirmed, estimated, or a forecast, and you can accept, snooze, or dismiss it. Pro also adds weekly momentum, a profit forecast once there’s enough history, and aging and price-review reminders.

From purchase to sale

An item holds its purchase cost, asking price, photos, categories, platforms, tags, and notes. Search and status filters (listed, sold, traded, and kept) help you find it again.

You can add an item by hand or import a listing link from the app or the iOS Share Sheet. The app shows what it captured and what’s missing, so you can check the details before saving. What it can read depends on the marketplace page.

Built-in fee and shipping estimates for eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Facebook Marketplace show what you’d take home on each platform an item is listed on. When it sells, you choose the platform and review the fees before they become the recorded result.

For bulk buys, lots spread the purchase cost across the items inside (Pro). Trades connect items through an exchange, including cash paid or received, so the history doesn’t disappear when one item becomes another. If you decide to keep something for yourself, it moves out of your resale numbers without losing its cost or photos, and Flip Tracker shows what your kept items are worth.

Understand the numbers

Record the sale price, marketplace fees, shipping, refunds, and other costs in the sales ledger. Flip Tracker separates recorded results from estimates, so an asking price isn’t presented as money you’ve earned. Items shared with a partner can split the profit.

Insights shows realized profit for any period on a chart you can scrub through. Pro adds revenue, ROI, sell-through, and days-to-sell tiles, profit by platform and category, and a short list of what stands out.

Keep your records

Inventory is stored on the device, with personal iCloud sync across your devices when available. Full ZIP backups include records and photos, and can be restored or merged back into the app. Pro also includes CSV and JSON exports for working with the data elsewhere.

Built with Apple’s native tools

The app is built with Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, and CloudKit, with purchases handled by Apple through RevenueCat. The free tier covers up to 25 items with one photo each. Pro adds unlimited items, up to 10 photos per item, lots, and the advanced tools. In the US, Pro is $4.99 a month, $39.99 a year, or $79.99 once.
