Flip Tracker is on the App Store

Our app for resellers is out for iPhone and iPad. Here's what it does, what's free, what Pro adds, and how we built it.

Three iPhone screens from Flip Tracker: Inventory with sold and listed items, Today with the next best action and Money Moves, and Insights with a realized-profit chart

When we started this blog, Flip Tracker was in testing. Version 2.0 is now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and it’s free to download.

Who it’s for

Flip Tracker is for people who resell: part-time sellers, side hustlers, and small resale businesses listing on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, and Facebook Marketplace.

Reselling comes with a lot of small details. What did an item cost? Where is it listed? Did the sale cover the fees and shipping? What still needs to go out? Those answers usually end up spread across a spreadsheet, a notes app, and a few marketplace tabs. Flip Tracker keeps them in one place.

What it does

Today opens on the most useful thing to do next, such as a sale that still needs to ship, with a short queue of tasks below it. Shipping tasks are created when an item sells, and you can add your own.

Inventory holds each item’s cost, asking price, photos, platforms, tags, and notes. You can add an item by hand or import a listing link from the app or the iOS Share Sheet. The app shows what it captured and what’s missing, so you can check the details before saving.

Sales are recorded with the price, marketplace fees, shipping, and other costs. Built-in fee and shipping estimates show what you’d take home on each platform, and you review the fees before a sale becomes part of your numbers. Flip Tracker keeps recorded results separate from estimates, so an asking price is never shown as money you’ve earned.

Insights shows realized profit for any period on a chart you can scrub through.

Your inventory is stored on your device and syncs across your devices with your own iCloud account. You can make a full backup, with records and photos, whenever you like.

Free and Pro

The free version covers up to 25 items with one photo each, along with listing imports, tasks, and profit tracking.

Pro adds unlimited items, up to 10 photos per item, and the tools for sellers who move more volume: Money Moves (a ranked plan of what to do next, with each dollar figure marked as confirmed, estimated, or a forecast), bulk-buy lots that spread a purchase’s cost across the items inside, deeper stats and a profit forecast, and CSV and JSON exports. In the US, Pro is $4.99 a month, $39.99 a year, or $79.99 once.

How we built it

Flip Tracker is a native app, built with Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, and CloudKit. Purchases are handled by Apple through RevenueCat. Building it natively means it feels at home on an iPhone and iPad, and your records stay on your device and in your own iCloud. We have no servers that receive your inventory, and we can’t see it.

Try it

Flip Tracker’s page has the screenshots, what’s free, and what Pro costs, and the yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial. For the full rundown, see the Flip Tracker case study. If something doesn’t work the way you expect, app support is the fastest way to reach us.
