Common questions.
How are eBay fees calculated?
For most categories, eBay charges a final value fee of 13.6% of the total the buyer pays, including shipping and sales tax, and 2.35% on any part above $7,500. There’s also a per-order fee of $0.40, or $0.30 when the total is $10 or less. Some categories have other rates, and promoted listings add their own percentage.
What does Poshmark take?
A flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and 20% from $15 up. The buyer pays for Poshmark’s prepaid shipping label, so shipping doesn’t change what you take home.
What are Mercari and Depop fees?
Mercari charges 10% of the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays. Depop has no selling fee in the US; it charges payment processing of 3.3% plus $0.45 on the total, including shipping and sales tax.
Does Facebook Marketplace charge fees?
On shipped orders, Facebook charges 5% of the item and shipping, with a $0.40 minimum. Local pickup sales paid in person have no fee.
How accurate is this?
