Flip Tracker Privacy Policy

Flip Tracker is a reselling inventory and profit tracker for iOS, published by Mendia. It is built so that your business data stays yours: there are no accounts, no logins, no ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data You Put Into the App

Items, photos, purchase and sale prices, fees, lots, tasks, notes, tags, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Flip Tracker does not transmit this data to Mendia. We have no servers that receive or store your inventory, and we cannot see it.

iCloud Sync

Flip Tracker uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data across your devices through your private iCloud database. This data is stored in your own iCloud account, protected by Apple’s security, and is not accessible to Mendia. Flip Tracker doesn’t share your data with other iCloud users.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Flip Tracker uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage premium entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase information. It does not receive your inventory data, name, or email. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple.

Importing From Listing Links

When you paste or share a marketplace listing link (for example from eBay or Mercari), the app fetches that public page directly from the marketplace to prefill item details. Refreshing a saved listing works the same way. These requests go from your device to the marketplace’s servers, just as if you opened the link in a browser. No link data is sent to Mendia.

Photos

Photos you attach to items are stored on your device, and in your private iCloud if sync is on. They are never uploaded to Mendia. CSV and JSON exports leave photos out. A full backup file includes them, and is saved wherever you choose.

Diagnostics

The app writes diagnostic events to Apple’s local unified logging system on your device to aid troubleshooting. These logs stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them with Apple or with us.

Data Export and Deletion

You can save a full backup at any time from Settings → Data & Backup, and Pro adds CSV and JSON exports. Backup and export files hold your private records, so keep them somewhere you trust. You can delete all app data from Settings → Delete All Data. With iCloud sync on, this also deletes the data from your other devices. You can clear any remaining iCloud storage in the Settings app → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Contacting Support

The Contact Support link in the app opens an email that includes only the app and iOS versions. Anything else is up to you.

Children

Flip Tracker is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
