Flip Tracker is a reselling inventory and profit tracker for iOS, published by Mendia. It is built so that your business data stays yours: there are no accounts, no logins, no ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Items, photos, purchase and sale prices, fees, lots, tasks, notes, tags, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Flip Tracker does not transmit this data to Mendia. We have no servers that receive or store your inventory, and we cannot see it.
Flip Tracker uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data across your devices through your private iCloud database. This data is stored in your own iCloud account, protected by Apple’s security, and is not accessible to Mendia. If you use Household Sharing, the data you choose to share is made available only to the person you invite, through Apple’s CloudKit sharing.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. Flip Tracker uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage premium entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase information; it does not receive your inventory data, name, or email. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple.
When you paste or share a marketplace listing link (for example from eBay or Mercari), the app fetches that public page directly from the marketplace to prefill item details. These requests go from your device to the marketplace’s servers, just as if you opened the link in a browser. No link data is sent to Mendia.
Photos you attach to items are stored on your device (and in your private iCloud if sync is enabled). Photos are never included in CSV/JSON exports and are never uploaded to Mendia.
The app writes diagnostic events to Apple’s local unified logging system on your device to aid troubleshooting. These logs stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them with Apple or with us.
You can export your data as CSV or JSON at any time from Settings. You can delete all app data from Settings → Delete All Data; deleting the app and removing its iCloud data (Settings app → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage) removes synced copies.
Flip Tracker is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
